Leads and visit sources (Pro)

Calls, form sends, directions and emails, plus search, AI assistants, countries, busiest hours, downloads and broken pages.

With GoConsent Pro, the Traffic tab also shows what visitors do: the calls, form sends, directions and emails your site brings in, and where those visits come from. It’s still counted on your own server, with no cookies and no stored IP addresses.

The Pro Traffic tab: visitors, page views, calls, form sends, directions and emails, then donut charts of where visitors come from and their devices, AI assistants, and leads by page.
  1. Leads: calls, form sends, directions and emails, compared with the previous period.
  2. Where visitors come from: search, AI assistants, social, direct or other sites, counted on the first page of each visit.
  3. AI assistants: visits from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Claude and others.
  4. Leads by page: which pages bring in calls, forms, directions and emails.

What’s counted

  • Calls: taps on phone links (tel: and sms:). It counts the tap, not whether the call connected.
  • Emails: clicks on email links (mailto:).
  • Directions: clicks on Google Maps, Apple Maps and Waze links.
  • Form sends: successful sends from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Formidable, Fluent Forms, Forminator and Elementor forms; other forms count when they’re submitted. Search, login and checkout forms aren’t counted.
  • Landing pages: the first page of each visit.
  • Visitors by country: from the time zone the visitor’s browser reports. No IP lookup.
  • Busiest days and hours: page views by weekday and hour, in your site’s time zone.
  • Downloads and outbound clicks: PDFs and other files, and links to other sites (for example DoorDash or Yelp).
  • Broken pages (404): addresses visitors tried that don’t exist, so you can fix or redirect them.

Privacy

Only the kind of action, the page and, for downloads and outbound clicks, the file name or site are sent. Never the phone number, email address or anything typed into a form. Everything stays in your own database as daily totals.

The new numbers start counting from the day Pro is turned on.

On your WordPress Dashboard

Pro also adds a GoConsent widget to Dashboard › Home for administrators: the last 30 days of visitors, calls, form sends and directions, visitors per day, where visitors come from, your checkup score and privacy requests waiting. Move or hide it like any Dashboard box (Screen Options).
