Install Pro and activate your license

From your purchase email to Pro features turned on, in a couple of minutes, keeping everything from the free version.

After you buy, you get an email with your license key and a download button for GoConsent Pro. Installing Pro and turning it on takes a couple of minutes, and you don’t lose anything you’ve already set up in the free version.

Install Pro

  1. Download GoConsent Pro from the button in your email.
  2. In WordPress, go to Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it.
  3. If the free GoConsent is installed, Pro switches it off and takes over with the same settings, scans and consent records. You can delete the free copy afterwards; deleting it doesn’t remove your data.
  4. New to GoConsent? It asks you to agree to its terms first. Click Review terms & activate, tick the box and click Agree and activate.

Activate your license

  1. Open GoConsent › Account and paste the key from your email.
  2. Click Activate. The Account tab fills in with your plan, sites and billing.
  3. No key handy? Lost your key? sends it to the email you bought with.

When it works you’ll see License activated. Pro features are on. To check the key, your site sends it with your site’s address to the RoxxiStudios license server. No visitor data is sent.

If activation doesn’t work

  • That license key isn’t valid. Copy the key again from your email, without extra spaces.
  • This license is already used on all the sites its plan allows. Deactivate it on another site, or move to a bigger plan.
  • This license has expired. Renew it, and Pro turns back on with the same key.
  • This license is suspended. Contact RoxxiStudios.
  • The license server can’t be reached right now. Wait a minute and try again.

What turns on

Pro features turn on right away: the Pro pages on the Tools tab, copy and delete requests in Your Privacy Choices, alerts and the monthly report, and Consent ID lookup on the Consent tab. Each activation uses one of your plan’s sites.

You also get rules by visitor’s region and the age gate on the Consent tab, policy history on the Tools tab, and evidence scans on the Scanner tab.

Plans and sites

  • Personal covers 1 site, Business 5 and Agency 25.
  • To use the same key on another site, install Pro there and paste the same key.
  • Deactivating the Pro plugin gives the site back to your plan. Turn it on again and it takes a site again, if one is free.
  • Hosted on RoxxiStudios Managed WP+? Pro needs no key. Click Check now on the Account tab.
  • GoConsent re-checks your license once a day. If the license server can’t be reached, Pro keeps working for 7 days while it retries.
