Read your cookie-free stats
Visitors, page views, sources and campaigns, counted on your own server with no cookies and no stored IP addresses.
GoConsent counts visits on your own server with no cookies and no stored IP addresses. Visitors who reject analytics are still counted here, so your numbers don’t drop when people say no. Nothing is sent to anyone else.

- Pick a range: 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Visitors, page views, top page and top source, compared with the previous period.
- Visitors per day.
What you see
The Traffic tab opens on the last 30 days. Below the chart are four lists, each showing the top 8:
- Top pages: the pages people looked at most.
- Where visitors came from: the sites that sent them, such as google.com. Visits with no referring site aren’t listed here.
- Devices: mobile, tablet or desktop, from the width of the browser window.
- Campaigns (UTM): links you tagged with utm_campaign, utm_source and utm_content, for example in a newsletter or ad.
Point at any number, chart, slice, bar or row to see the exact count, its share and the previous period.
How it counts without cookies
When a page has been on screen for a second, the browser sends your server a small note: the page address, the name of the site the visitor came from, the screen width and any UTM tags.
To tell visitors apart within a day, GoConsent mixes the visitor’s IP address and browser details with a random code that changes every day, and keeps only the scrambled result. Those are deleted once the day is over, so nobody can be recognized from one day to the next, and the IP address is never stored. Only daily totals stay in your database.
This means a visitor counts once per day. Someone who comes back on three different days counts as three visitors over the month.
What isn’t counted
- Robots: known crawlers and monitoring tools, browsers that say they’re automated, and pages nobody actually looked at (loaded in the background or ahead of time).
- Floods: more than 300 page views an hour from one visitor.
- You and your team: signed-in administrators, editors and staff roles.
- The WordPress admin and login pages.
Turn it on or off
Stats start once you accept the terms and turn GoConsent on. The Cookie-free traffic stats switch in Settings › Policy & alerts is on by default. Deactivating GoConsent keeps your stats; deleting the plugin removes them.
GoConsent Pro adds calls, form sends, directions, emails and where visits come from. See Leads and visit sources.
