Alerts and the monthly report
Emails when a new tracker appears or a privacy law starts to apply, and a report once a month.
GoConsent Pro keeps an eye on your site and the law, and emails you when something needs your attention. All of these follow the Email alerts setting on the Settings tab, and go to the site admin and your privacy contact email.
New-tracker alerts
When the daily scan finds a tracker, pixel or embed it hasn’t seen on your site before, you get an email with:
- What it is and its category (Analytics, Marketing, Maps & videos).
- The pages it was found on, and the plugin, theme or snippet that added it.
- What to do: check its category, update your Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, or remove it if you didn’t mean to add it.
Each service is reported once. Whatever was already on your site when Pro was turned on isn’t reported.
Privacy law alerts
GoConsent checks once a day which privacy laws likely apply to you, from your Settings. You get an email when:
- A law now likely applies, because it started or because your answers changed.
- A law that will likely apply to you starts within 60 days.
Each email lists what the law asks of your website and links to its official text. Every law also has a page here: privacy laws.
Monthly report
At the start of each month you get one email covering the month before:
- Your checkup score and up to five things to fix.
- Consent choices saved (accepted all, rejected all, chose some) and Global Privacy Control signals honored.
- Privacy requests received and closed, and any still open.
- Visitors and page views from your cookie-free stats.
The first report arrives at the start of the first full month after Pro is turned on.
